The Bow wow wedding! ( also known as The MitAli Wedding)
When you meet Mitali & Ali, you’ll feel like you’ve known them all your life. They both are super chilled out, the easiest people to talk to and most importantly so much in love with one another! Mitali being a canine behaviourist and trainer, wanted to incorporate dogs in her save the date shoot. Also, their wedding happened in Goa instead of Bali just because it would be easier for her dog ‘Pantu’ to be a part of the wedding. Our journey with them started with a random shoot, led to their epic save the date video with 6 amazing doggies (
Have you seen it yet? ) and now, (multiple Doolally outings later) we present to you their wedding trailer! The most awaited wedding trailer of the year!
The happiness starts within them and radiates to everyone surrounding them. The excitement began with a intimate haldi function, a beautiful engagement by the beach leading to an arabic themed mehendi at night. Next day were the pheras followed by a rocking sangeet evening that no-one remembers! Last day started with a power packed holi party and a lovely reception at night! It was three days, but they were a blur to us because the entire team had such a good time shooting!

Engagement :
They had a western style engagement by the beach
Mehendi:
A mehendi function at night is a rarity. But they planned an arabic themed one and it turned out great!
Pheras:
Maharastrian style pheras along with a small salaam at the end from Ali’s side! Beautiful mix of cultures
Sangeet:
They kept sangeet after the pheras so they could have the night of their lives!
Holi Party :
This was planned on the last day so the bride & groom could also get down and dirty!
Reception:
A simple intimate affair with lots of speeches and a sit-down dinner

In Mitali’s words,”Ali and I had been planning our perfect wedding for over 3 years. We were hunting for the right photographer for a while, but it just took one meeting with Ankita and Akash to know they were the right choice. They showed genuine excitement and enthusiasm for our ideas, and with their ‘lets do it’ attitude we felt very comfortable knowing our phorographers are on board with our mad ideas for the wedding.
During the wedding we were extremely busy and trusted the Team to ensure they got all the shots. They did a lot more than get the important shots, they captured intimate and candid moments that really helped recreate the emotions we felt at our wedding on the screen. We didn’t even feel that they were there, but they always had a camera pointed in the right direction. After our wedding a lot of our guests asked us “who were your photographers?” This was odd since they hadn’t yet seen any picture or video of the wedding. When I asked them why? They said “Because they were everywhere all the time!”. They even stayed up late, missed meals, wrapped their equipment in plastic for the holi party, there is so much they did to make sure every moment is captured.
Even before the wedding they wanted to be involved in the decor, lighting etc. Before every function they visited the venue and made sure the lighting was perfect for every function to get the perfect shots. Ankita and Akash even sat with me patiently through hair and makeup entertaining me.
It all started with our prewedding shoot. They were as excited about it as us. They completely surprised me with not just shooting but also physically handling all the dogs and encouraging me to do my job even when I was exhausted.
We were blown away by the results. The Save the Date video has turned out to be such a amazing fuel to the the wedding excitement. They managed to patiently spend the day taking videos of 6 dogs and us, and it was no easy feat.
Then came the wedding trailer. We cannot believe the perfect way it captures the essence of the most important days of our lives. The team has an amazing bunch of editors who work magic with the footage. They chose all the right shots, an amazing sound track, and moments we will remember in our hearts forever.
I think the best thing about WeddingNama is not just that they make amazing memories come to life, but that they are as invested in your wedding as you are.
