A Royal wedding, two people madly in love, a Rajasthani palace, magic!
When we met Arjun & Shweta, there was an instant connect. Being designers themselves, they have a good eye for details and give a lot of importance to photography. From the moment we began their couple shoot at the Laxmi Niwas Palace, we knew that we were in for something special. They are absolutely adorable together! The setting was perfect, the lighting was perfect and of course they were perfect. They gave us ample time before each event to be able to plan our shots and that made a lot of difference in the output. We absolutely enjoyed being a part of their celebration and capturing their many many sweet moments with family & friends.
Arjun says, “Both of us were very sure that we wanted the wedding to be royal, elegant and traditional. But more than anything else, we wanted the wedding to have a luxurious yet understated feel. Rajasthan was naturally the starting point and we did a week long recce, visiting the usual spots in Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur. We were very close to finalising Jodhpur when someone suggested that we try Laxmi Niwas Palace in Bikaner. As soon as we entered the palace grounds, we knew we had found our destination. Even though the palace has been featured in Bollywood movies such as Band, Baaja, Baraat and Khoobsurat, there aren’t many weddings that take place in the palace. But we were quite stoked about having the wedding in Bikaner – it was a destination not many people have in mind when they think of Rajasthan and that made it all the more exciting!”
