Bombay… Aamchi Mumbai… The city of dreams. The city that never sleeps. The city of movie stars. The city that is alive.

Shooting here is like shooting at Indian weddings. There is a lot of action. There are way too many people. There is chaos. There is also order in the chaos. I am Ankita Asthana and I shoot love stories!

I shot this series of images with one of my favourite couples Mitali & Ali. We went around the iconic spaces of Mumbai and captured their love story in the middle of it all. We shot at CST, nariman point, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal hotel & even in the local trains!

This was also to show how you can use light creatively in any scenario. Be it day or night, you can create your own light. I used the Profoto A1 to make these photographs. It was a cloudy overcast day and we made the most of it by using this beautiful mini studio light.
